This is to gently remind you about the forthcoming<\/strong> \u201cYoung Rheologists\nDays\u201d\u2013<\/strong> June 16-19,\n2020, <\/strong>Giron-France<\/strong>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear<\/strong> colleagues and friends<\/strong> (Sorry for the cross-posting), <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a support of the European Society of rheology (<\/strong>ESR) and the <\/strong>French Group of Rheology (GFR), we are organizing the\nYoung Rheologists Days 2020 which will be held at Giron (Jura, France), June\n16-19- 2020. <\/strong>The main focus of this conference is to establish a\ndiscussion forum for the community of engineers and scientists in the rheology\nfield. We aim at giving, for the first time, a more international dimension<\/strong>\nto our meeting, thanks to the privileged location of Giron. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indeed, rheologists from universities, research centers\nor industry will be able to report<\/strong> on the\nmost recent advances in the field. It is our belief that this conference would\nbenefit from expanding to (i) bordering countries and (ii) other countries <\/strong>over the world\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference will include 5 Guest\nspeakers<\/strong> for Plenary Lectures. Other Keynotes lectures will be also\ngiven from both eminent researchers from both universities and industry. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We expect between 70 and\n90 attendees with more than 60 presentations from Phd, post-doctoral students\nand engineers<\/strong>. The objective is to\ngive to all applicants the opportunity to present their work and exchange\nwith rheologists from a wide range of backgrounds.<\/strong> We schedule to have a\nfriendly and convivial<\/strong> conference allowing our young researchers to\nstill love<\/strong> the rheology and to join our societies. We are in fact\nparticularly concerned by the aim of bridging the gap between academia and\nindustry through the organization of ritual round-tables dedicated to young\nresearchers, animated by confirmed rheologists and companies involved in\nrheology developments in different applications domain. At\nalmost 1100 m altitude, we schedule to have a friendly conference enticing our\nyoung researchers not only in rheology field but in other concerned domains. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

YRD 2020 will give you a special chance to enjoy\nAIN\/Jura Region and its splendid mountains, making it the first tourist\ndestination of Auvergne-Rhone Alpes.  Many numerous attractions make this\nregion a popular destination for lovers of nature, snow, exploring and fine\nfood and gastronomy. Besides, a varied social program will accompany the\nconference: gathering some social activities with visits to several\nindustrial plants and regional institutions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
